The Pat Watters Band
Gossip, Rumors, and Hearsay

Aaaaaand We're Back!

Good Saturday morning friends!

It's been 8 months, but we are finally just one week away from the return of The PWB at Cow97's St. Jude's Honky Tonk Fundraiser at Colonial in Sparta next Saturday night. We are extremely excited about this show, and all of the great shows we have already on the schedule for this year. Stay tuned because the list keeps growing.

We want to take this opportunity to tell you "Thank You." This band played its first show together in October 2008. For nearly 3 full years of performing, we never had to cancel a single show. Needless to say, it was a difficult call to make to take some time off for Pat's throat surgery and Rick's hand surgery. But it's proven to be the right call. We can't say thanks enough to our sponsors Miller Lite and Westside Wine and Spirits the venue owners who were understanding of the situation, and especially to all of you for all of the emails and facebook messages we received letting us know you were behind us 100% and you'd be here when we got back.

It's important that you know that you're as big a part of the PWB as we are. Who we are as a band isn't measured by what comes out of the speakers. It's measured by the connection we have with you, and by your commitment to what we do. By that measure, you've always made us better for your presence.

When we told you last June that we would be taking some time off, we promised we wouldn't miss a beat and we would be back as soon as we could to pick right up where we left off. I think you'll see we intend to fully deliver on that promise.

So we hope we see you next Saturday night at Colonial for a great high-energy show, some real country music, and a few holler and swallers! God bless you and yours, and long live Wisconsin Country Music.

FORWARD,

Curt, Mick, Pat, Paul, Rick, and Jess

Vote for the WAMI Awards!

It’s that time of year again! The Pat Watters Band is in the running for the 2012 WAMI Award for People’s Choice Band of the year, and we could again use your help.

As a band that believes in making Wisconsin music for Wisconsin people, this award means a great deal to us. The WAMI membership is heavily skewed toward eastern Wisconsin. So we consider this our one opportunity to represent the people and the music being made over here on our side of the state.

The WAMIs have also added a favorite radio station category this year. COW97 has been a big supporter of the PWB since we started, and we would love nothing more than to stand side by side with them at the awards show in April.

Voting has been simplified this year and takes less than a minute:

STEP 1: CLICK HERE

STEP 2: Enter your email address

STEP 3: Select the “Southwest” region

STEP 4: Enter “The Pat Watters Band” for Artist of the Year

STEP 5: Enter “COW97” for Radio Station of the Year

STEP 6: Click “Submit”

After you’ve voted, spread the word! Any help you could give us by forwarding this email or telling your friends on facebook, twitter, or google+ would be greatly appreciated.

As always, thanks for the support. Without you, this band doesn’t exist. Thanks again! FORWARD!
